CT House Postpones Vote On Electronic Tolls Just as House Democrats were pushing for a vote to approve tolls on Connecticut highways, House Speaker Joe Aresimowicz announced on Wednesday, May 2 that the vote was postponed. According to multiple news reports, Aresimowicz said he could not guarantee any debate on the proposal to restore tolls anytime soon, and perhaps not even this year.
