Man Admits To Trafficking Meth, Preparing False Tax Returns A convict in Connecticut is facing more time behind bars after admitting to drug trafficking and tax offenses in court. Middletown resident Eugene Carlin pleaded guilty in federal court to conspiracy to distribute, and to possess with intent to distribute, 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, and one count of aiding in the preparation of false tax returns.  An investigation into Carlin led to two controlled purchases of methamphetamine by law enforcement officials.
