Suspect In Stamford Near-Fatal Bus Stabbing Nabbed A suspect has been charged in the alleged near-fatal stabbing of a man at a Fairfield County bus stop. Olajuwon Raheem Clarke, age 29, homeless, was taken into custody in Brooklyn for the Monday, Nov. 20 stabbing of a Stamford man on a CT Transit bus, said Capt. Tom Scanlon of the Stamford Police. Witnesses reported that the CT Transit bus stopped at the bus stop and a man got on the bus and engaged the victim in an argument. The argument turned physical, and the suspect pulled out an unknown object from his coat pocket and stabbed the victim in the chest, Scanlon said. The …

The shooting occurred in the early morning of Wednesday, Feb. 9 in the rear driveway of 146 Henry St. in Stamford. When police arrived on the scene they found a man who had been shot in the stomach causing life-threatening injuries. Third Man Arrested In Assault At Park In Fairfield County, Police Say A third Fairfield County man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a man at a popular city park.  Brian Towles, of Stamford, was arrested on Thursday, July 1, by the Stamford Police Major Crimes Unit for the stabbing of a 30-year-old man on Friday, June 4, said Captain Richard Conklin. The incident took place around 3:30 p.m. at Veteran's Park, in which the victim suffered a stab wound to his torso, and that required emergency surgery. Suspect Nabbed After Man Found Fatally Shot In Stamford Roadway Police have arrested a suspect after finding a man lying in the roadway following a reported shooting. The killing took place around 5:20 p.m., Monday, Dec. 7 in Stamford at the intersection of Henry Street at Cedar Street, police said.
