Former Bravo’s Top Chef competitor Chris Scott is making his culinary mark in Bridgeport with the opening of Birdman Juke Joint in the near future. As Scott explained in a recent interview with Food and Wine, Birdman is named after the term for the individual on a plantation who tended to birds during the antebellum slavery era.
