Arrest Made In Fatal Stabbing Of Popular Fairfield Prep Student-Athlete Police in Connecticut have arrested a teen for the stabbing death of a popular Fairfield County teen and the stabbing of three others. James "Jimmy" McGrath, age 17, a football and lacrosse player at Fairfield College Preparatory School, was killed around 11:50 p.m., in Shelton on Saturday, May 14 during a fight in front of a residence, authorities said. The suspect, a 16-year-old from New Haven County who resides in the city of Milford, was arrested by Shelton Police and charged with murder and three counts of assault on Wednesday, May 18, Shelton PD Det. Fairfield County Man Robs Three Within 20 Minutes With 4-Year-Old Child In Vehicle, Police Say A Fairfield County man was arrested after he allegedly robbed three people within 20 minutes of each other while his 4-year-old child was in the vehicle. Brandon Lasky, age 29, of Shelton, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 28, following the robberies in downtown Shelton, said Shelton Police Det. Richard Bango. The robberies began around 9 p.m. when the department was first called to Caloroso restaurant for a report that a man robbed an employee leaving work, Bango said.
