A Jewish family building a home in the village, a hamlet of Cold Spring, found swastikas and hate speech spray-painted on the home's walls and at the construction site. A spokesperson for the Putnam County Sheriff's Office confirmed the incident and said it is in the early stages of determining if the incident is a hate crime.
