Brewster Schools Superintendent Announces Departure A rocky school year in Brewster got a new surprise when Superintendent Valerie Henning-Piedmonte announced plans to leave the district at the end of the next school year.  The Brewster Board of Education accepted Henning-Piedmonte’s resignation effective July 31, 2019.  Henning-Piedmonte has been in education for 25 years.  She came to the Brewster district during the 2013-2014 year as assistant superintendent for curriculum, instruction and assessment and was promoted to deputy superintendent.
