Man, Woman From Brewster Face Separate Charges After Route 22 Stop A man and woman of Brewster are both facing charges following a traffic stop initiated by a Putnam County Deputy Sheriff. The deputy sheriff pulled over a vehicle on Route 22 in Patterson that allegedly committed a traffic violation Tuesday, Nov. 20. Upon further inspection, the deputy learned that the vehicle’s driver, 40-year-old John Covias, had a suspended license in addition to two active warrants out from the Duchess County Sheriff’s Office. The local residents charged were: Westchester County On Sunday, Nov. 18, State Police troopers from Somers arrested Eugene A. O’Dell, 57, of Somers, for DWI.
