Danbury Man Nabbed For DWI, Unlicensed Driving, Police Say
Four people, including Westchester and Fairfield County residents, face various charges after they were caught driving while intoxicated in the Hudson Valley, police said.
The arrests all happened in Putnam County over both Saturday, Aug. 19, and Sunday, Aug. 20, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

A total of five people face drug-related charges after authorities made arrests in three separate incidents in the Hudson Valley, police said.
The five arrests were all made by the Narcotics Enforcement Unit in Putnam County and stemmed from three incidents on Tuesday, June 13, Wednesday, June 14, and Wednesday, May 31, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

CT Hockey Coach Charged With Assaulting Player At Ice Arena, Police Say
A youth hockey coach has been arrested after allegedly hitting a 10-year-old player with a hockey stick, injuring him.
Marvin A. Minkler, age 53, a Connecticut resident, was arrested on Sunday, Oct. 31, in New York and charged with assault and endangering a child, said the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
According to the criminal complaint outlining his arrest, the incident took place on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at the Brewster Ice Arena located at 63 Fields Lane in the town of Southeast.

Alert Issued For Missing Woman Who Could Be In Area
A woman who has been missing for more than three years may be in the New York area, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
Brianna Jayde Vibert, 24, was last seen at a Marathon Gas Station in Flint Township, Michigan on Monday, July 17, 2017, according to authorities.
She often went to the station to charge her phone or use the bathroom. Surveillance video from the gas station shows Vibert appearing anxious, even panicked, and she had blood on the inside of her right forearm.

Man Struck, Killed By Car Driven By Carmel Teen Outside Area Bar
A 52-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle outside of a bar in the area.
The crash took place around 11:45 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, in the area of Tina's Bar, at 4081 Route 52, in Stormville, said the East Fishkill Police.
Officers responding to the scene discovered the unidentified man just off the roadway on the north shoulder. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
It appears the man was in the westbound driving lane when a 2006 Audi driving westbound struck him. The driver of the Audi, a 19-year-old teen from Carmel, stopped shortly after the collision, police said.…
ID Released For Redding Man Found Dead In Area Lake
A Fairfield County man found dead in Lake Carmel after an exhaustive search has been identified by police in Putnam County.
Jeremy Kipnis, 54, of Redding, was found floating in the middle of Lake Carmel around 5:30 a.m., Monday, July 22, said the Kent Police.
Kipnis disappeared after telling his wife he was going swimming Saturday afternoon, July 20, but then never returned home.
His wife, Carolina Kipnis, said on Facebook that a preliminary autopsy report showed Kipnis had a heart attack in the water.
