Domestic Incident Leads To Seven-Hour Standoff In Area A man facing charges in a domestic incident barricaded himself inside his home, leading to a nearly seven-hour standoff that finally ended just before 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 in Carmel. At approximately 2:20 p.m. a member of the Carmel Police Department was on Putnam Drive investigating a prior domestic incident involving the 28-year-old resident, Alexander Booth.  The officer, hearing what he believed to be a gunshot come from the residence, requested backup, Carmel Police Chief Michael Cazzari said.
