Connecticut Minimum Wage Will Soon Increase To $14 Connecticut's minimum wage is set to increase in the coming days as part of the state's five-year plan to increase the minimum wage to $15 in 2023. Gov. Ned Lamont issued a reminder that beginning Friday, July 1, Connecticut's minimum wage will increase from $13 to $14. $12 Minimum Wage Starts Today, Sept. 1; More Increases Planned Today is the first day of a $12 per hour minimum wage in Connecticut. Just yesterday, the minimum wage in Connecticut was $11 per hour.
