Woman Killed After Vintage Car Drives Off CT Road, Hits Guardrail, Lands In Embankment Authorities are investigating the cause of a Connecticut crash that left a 35-year-old woman dead and another person seriously injured.  The incident happened in Windham County on Monday, Oct. 9 around 8:30 p.m., when a 1967 Triumph GT6 traveling south on Route 169 in Pomfret near the intersection with Harrisville Road ran off the right side of the road and struck a metal beam guardrail, according to state police.
