$22K Scam: Norwalk Man Charged For Failing To Deliver After Sale, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been charged with larceny after he allegedly failed to deliver equipment he sold for $22,000.
The incident took place in January when Norwalk Police opened an investigation into a complaint of larceny committed by Christou Papachristou, age 42, said Norwalk Police Sgt. Joe Dinho.
The buyer, who lives in Florida, reported that he had purchased a piece of equipment from Papachristou, a Norwalk resident, paying over $22,000 for it, but that it never arrived, Dinho said.

Norwalk Police detectives are working on two cases that may be connected in which a woman was pistol-whipped and robbed and a man's car was stolen.
The first incident took place around 11:45 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, when the woman told an officer that she had been walking on Henry Street when a red vehicle pulled up alongside her and two of its occupants exited, while the driver remained in the vehicle, said Lt. A math coach who allegedly used a chokehold on an elementary student until they were unconscious in Fairfield County has resigned from her job.
The incident took place in Norwalk on Friday, Feb. 24 at Brookside Elementary School.
Following an investigation, Stefanie Sanabria, age 50, of Danbury, was arrested on a warrant at her home, said Deputy Chief Terrence Blake, of the Norwalk Police.
She resigned from the school on the same day, said Emily Morgan, spokeswoman for the Norwalk School District.

A math coach at a Connecticut school has been charged with strangulation after allegedly using a chokehold on an elementary student in Fairfield County until the child became unconscious.
