Musician Performing In Norwalk Dies On Stage An area musician and lifelong Norwalker Timothy Paul Currie died suddenly while on stage performing with his band on the Norwalk Green on Saturday, Aug. 24. Currie, 66, was well known for playing drums with the Tim Currie Motown Band and Tim Currie’s Tumblin’ Dice Band, which is a 60’s tribute band. He was also known throughout the community for his community involvement and for his passion for music and athletics, his obituary said.
