Woman Nabbed For Possession of Heroin In Newtown Traffic Stop, Police Say A 38-year-old area woman was busted for driving with a suspended license and possession of heroin following a traffic stop. Monica Maciog, of Monroe, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 26, following a traffic stop on Washington Avenue in Newtown, for having a suspended vehicle registration due to not having insurance, said Newtown Police Lt. Aaron Bahamonde. During the stop, officers found that Maciog also had a suspended driver's license and two active warrant, Bahamonde. Officers also found Maciog was in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
