Over 80 children worldwide— between the ages of six and 13-years-old— were allegedly groomed by a California man to produce child porn, authorities announced. Beef Jerky Products Sold In CT Recalled Due To Possible Listeria Contamination
Hundreds of pounds of a popular beef jerky product sold in eight states - including Connecticut - are being recalled due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. California-based Boyd Specialties is recalling approximately 1,634 pounds of ready-to-eat jerky products that could potentially be contaminated, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. Federal authorities announced a recall of powdered baby formula that has caused illnesses in children. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that Michigan-based Abbott is initiating a proactive, voluntary recall of powder formula that includes Similac, Alimentum, and EleCare. Dole has announced a massive recall of packaged salads due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Dole Fresh Vegetables announced a precautionary recall of all Dole-branded and private label packaged salads processed at its Bessemer City, North Carolina, and Yuma, Arizona processing facilities due to the possible health risk. A massive recall of pork products has been expanded to include more than two million pounds of ham and pepperoni that could potentially be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
