Medical Examiner Will Determine Why 4-Month-Old Died In Stamford Stamford police said the cause of death of a four-month-old baby girl from Tennessee who was found dead in a local hotel will likely be due to a medical issue. Police were notified of the death around 7 a.m. Saturday after the mother woke up at the America Best Value Inn in Stamford and found her small daughter was not breathing. The mother, 25-year-old Bethany Broyles of Elizabethton, Tenn., immediately called 911, said Sgt. Paul Guzda.
