Know Him? Suspect In Assault, Possible Abduction On Loose
Police are on the lookout for a suspect they say is responsible for a possible abduction. The incident occurred in Bridgeport at 2225 Main Street (Cambridge Apartments) on Saturday, March 16 around 10:30 p.m. The victim was reportedly dragged and forced to enter a dark-colored vehicle depicted in the images above. Neither the victim nor the suspect have been identified, and officers are asking for the public’s help in identifying both individuals. Man Sentenced For Crash That Killed Stamford Father Of Three
The man convicted for his role in a fatal Father’s Day crash in 2016 has been sentenced. David Henshaw, 64, was sentenced to a term of three years in prison for his role in the fatal crash that took the life of a 31-year-old father of three, Felipe Soto, in Bridgeport. The crash tore Soto’s vehicle in two, and body parts were reportedly scattered throughout the area following the collision. Soto was turning onto Main Street from Fairview Avenue when he was struck by Henshaw, who broadsided him, sending his own vehicle flying and ultimately landing on his roof. Police are asking for help from the public with identifying a man who is allegedly responsible for an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday, Dec. 4 just after 7 p.m. in Bridgeport. The robbery occurred at the People’s Bank located within the Stop & Shop at 4531 Main St. The subject is said to be a white man around 40 years old. ID Released For Stamford Man Killed When Car Crashes Into Webster Bank Arena
The man who was killed after his car crashed into the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport on Thanksgiving Day has been identified as a Stamford man. The man was driving south on Main Street at approximately 2:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22 before losing control of his vehicle, a Honda Accord, and colliding into the front of the building. Man Killed After Crash Seriously Damages Webster Bank Arena
A driver has died after crashing into the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport on Thanksgiving Day, police say. The victim, a man in his mid-20s whose identity has not officially been released, was driving south on Main Street at approximately 2:10 p.m. before losing control of his vehicle, a Honda Accord, and collided into the front of the building. Fire Displaces 16 In Fairfield County
An intense fire on the third floor of a building in Fairfield County sent one resident and two firefighters to the hospital and left 16 people homeless.The fire at 2487 Main St., in Bridgeport, started around 8 p.m. in a third-floor apartment of the building that houses Sorrento Importing Company, along with several apartments, said Bridgeport Fire Chief Richard Thode. The manager of a Fairfield County pizza restaurant was busted for sexually assaulting a woman who was applying for a job, according to the Connecticut Post. Riza Sahin, 37, the manager at Pizza Heaven on Main Street in Bridgeport, was charged Thursday with sexual assault and unlawful restraint, the Post said. A Fairfield County family doctor was arrested after he allegedly pushed his wife down the stairs and then forced her out of the house before moving in another woman and her son, according to the Fairfield Police. Two Bridgeport police officers injured after being dragged during a traffic stop early Wednesday morning have been released from the hospital, according to Av Harris spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
