House Fire Breaks Out In Mahopac Firefighters knocked down a house fire that broke out on Secor Road in Mahopac after 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29. Fire crews from the Mahopac Falls Fire Department received reports of smoke billowing from a house on Secor Road. Emergency teams converged on the scene and found heavy smoke upon entering the home, but little fire was found. The property owners were on the scene to stay close to their dogs.
