34-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Crash After Eluding Cops, CT State Police Say A motorist suffered serious injuries in a crash after eluding police in Connecticut. Connecticut State Police said the incident occurred in New London County at about 7:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, in Colchester. Tolland County resident David Justin Carnein, age 34, of the town of Tolland, was riding a 2001 Triumph motorcycle recklessly on Lebanon Avenue. Police had previously attempted to stop Carnein, but he fled at a high speed, said state police. Dump Truck Driver Killed In Single-Vehicle CT Crash A Connecticut dump truck driver was killed and a passenger injured during a single-vehicle crash after hitting a tree. The crash took place in New London County around 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 7 in Groton. According to Capt. Two Women Killed, Man Seriously Injured In Wrong-Way, Head-On CT Crash State Police are seeking witnesses to a fatal wrong-way driver crash that killed two Connecticut women and seriously injured a man. The crash took place on Route 82 in the Middlesex County town of Haddam on Tuesday, May 31, said the Connecticut State Police. A 2022 Ford E-350 was traveling westbound in the left land on the Route 82 connector in the town of Haddam when it was hit head-on by a 2007 Toyota Highlander that was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane on the connector, according to state police. Boy Falls 25 Feet At Park In Connecticut A 12-year-old boy suffered serious injuries when he fell 25 feet on Monday at the Cotton Hollow Preserve, police said. Officers from the Glastonbury Police Department responded to the park at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, when the boy fell off a cliff, investigators said. Upon arrival, they found him breathing, but unresponsive. The boy was extricated by the local fire department and LifeStar flew him to Hartford Hospital.
