Man Shot In Parking Lot, Suspect On Run In Norwalk, Police Say A man is recovering after being shot in the parking lot of a Fairfield County apartment complex. The incident took place in Norwalk around 7:20 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 30 on Fairfield Avenue. According to Norwalk Deputy Police Chief Joe Dinho, dispatch received a call reporting that a man had been shot in the parking lot on Fairfield Avenue. Patrol Officers quickly arrived on the scene and found a man on the sidewalk and began providing medical aid for his gunshot wound to the abdomen.  The victim was quickly transported to Norwalk Hospital by EMS. Man Found Dead Outside Norwalk CVS Police are investigating after a man was found dead outside of a Fairfield County CVS store. The incident took place in Norwalk around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5 at the store on Connecticut Avenue. According to Norwalk Police Deputy Chief Joe Dinho, officers responded to the store for a report of an unresponsive man in a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers were able to confirm that the adult individual was dead and was also confirmed by EMS, the chief said. The incident took place in January when Norwalk Police opened an investigation into a complaint of larceny committed by Christou Papachristou, age 42, said Norwalk Police Sgt. Joe Dinho. The buyer, who lives in Florida, reported that he had purchased a piece of equipment from Papachristou, a Norwalk resident, paying over $22,000 for it, but that it never arrived, Dinho said. 5 Fairfield County Smoke Shops Nabbed For Selling Vape Products To Minors, Police Say Five Fairfield County businesses were busted for allegedly selling vape tobacco products to minors during an undercover compliance check.  The compliance check took place in Norwalk on Monday, Dec. 19 at several different locations. The Norwalk Police Department Special Services Division and Special Victims Unit conducted the checks after continued complaints from parents regarding minors purchasing vape tobacco products, said Lt. Alert Issued For Missing Fairfield County Woman Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help locating a woman who has been missing for several days. Norwalk Police Lt. Joe Dinho said they received a missing person report on Thursday, Nov. 11 for Michel Lorena Lopez by her mother Muz-Stella Serpe. According to her mother, her daughter, has been missing since Monday, Nov. 8. The incident took place around 3:58 p.m., Sunday, May 16, at home on Chatham Drive in Norwalk, said Norwalk PD Lt. Joe Dinho. According to Dinho, police responded to the area after receiving multiple phone calls from residents reporting the sounds of gunshots.
