Motorist Stopped In New Canaan Charged With Failure To Appear
A 39-year-old Fairfield County man with two warrants out for his arrest is facing new charges in New Canaan after being busted by local police talking on his cellphone while he was driving. The New Canaan Police Department announced the arrest of Stratford resident James Kelley, 39, who was busted shortly before 2:15 p.m. on March 19 while driving northbound on Old Stamford Road. Police said that an officer on patrol stopped Kelley for operating his cellphone and driving.
