Ex-Employee Uses Westport Business' Credit Card To Make $16K In Amazon Purchases, Police Say
A former employee allegedly used a Westport business' credit card points to make $16, 000 in Amazon purchases, according to the Westport Police Department.
On March 6, an officer responded to a Westport business on a report of larceny by a former employee, police said.
The business reported a former employee, Jaiman Shah, redeemed in excess of 2 million credit card points to make the Amazon purchases, said Westport Police.
The fraudulent purchases had been shipped to Derby, where he resided, police said.
