Halal Meat Store Shut Down After Slaughter Of Young Cow In Home Depot Parking Lot A young cow was slaughtered outside a Home Depot in Bloomfield, leading to the closure of the business from which it escaped, according to NBC Connecticut. The animal had escaped from the meat store across the street on Saturday, July 13 and ran to the parking lot of Home Depot in Bloomfield.  The animal and other live animals were at the Saba meat store which is a halal meat store that prepares products observing Islamic law, reports NBC Connecticut.
