Two Unlocked Vehicles Entered At Fairfield County Park, Hundreds Of Dollars Stolen, Police Say Hundreds of dollars worth of items were stolen from two cars that were parked outside a Fairfield County park over the weekend. Police officers received two separate complaints from the owners of vehicles entered at Irwin Park in New Canaan while they were in the park walking between 4:15 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24. One vehicle was left unlocked with a purse inside, which was stolen, New Canaan Police said.
