Man Stabs Woman, Self In Front Of Danbury Officer In Apparent Murder-Suicide, Police Say A man and woman are dead in Fairfield County from an apparent murder-suicide in which the man stabbed himself in front of a police officer. The incident took place in Danbury around 12:10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 27 on High Ridge Road. According to Det. Capt. Mark Williams of the Danbury Police, an officer on patrol heard a verbal altercation in the area of High Ridge Road and Scuppo Road.  Upon investigating the disturbance, the officer found a man standing over a woman who was lying on High Ridge Road.
