Pearak Pha, 28, pleaded guilty to misconduct with a motor vehicle and felony evading for his role in the June 25, 2016, fatal incident that took the life of area resident Gasper Esteves. Pha is expected to receive a term of five years in prison when he is sentenced on July 29. Police said that investigators were dispatched to a stretch of Route 262 near Frost Bridge Road in Watertown at approximately 5 a.m. on July 27, when a pickup truck and a car collided. ID Released For Man Killed When Car Leaves Road, Hits Tree In Area Officials have released the identification of the man who died in a fatal crash in the area on Tuesday. Adrian Mayo, 35, of Waterbury, was killed after he lost control of his car around 9 a.m. on Shunpike Road near Kennels Road in town of Washington, said Capt. John Watterson with the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. After losing control, the vehicle crossed over the center pavement markings and struck a tree on the northern shoulder.
