Man Sentenced For Crash That Killed Stamford Father Of Three
The man convicted for his role in a fatal Father’s Day crash in 2016 has been sentenced. David Henshaw, 64, was sentenced to a term of three years in prison for his role in the fatal crash that took the life of a 31-year-old father of three, Felipe Soto, in Bridgeport. The crash tore Soto’s vehicle in two, and body parts were reportedly scattered throughout the area following the collision. Soto was turning onto Main Street from Fairview Avenue when he was struck by Henshaw, who broadsided him, sending his own vehicle flying and ultimately landing on his roof. Suspect Apprehended After Man Shot Dead In Front Of Gas Station In Bridgeport
Bridgeport police were able to quickly make an arrest in the shooting death of a 50-year-old man found dead in front of a gas station. Jayvell Washington, 39, of Bridgeport was arrested around 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, just hours after the man was found shot to death in front of a Citgo gas station around 9 a.m. Sunday at 915 Reservoir Ave., Bridgeport, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. Fairfield County Hairdresser Charged In Crash That Killed Father Of Two
A local hairdresser wanted on a warrant for second-degree manslaughter was nabbed by Bridgeport police at 3:50 a.m.Wednesday by an officer checking out a suspicious vehicle. Dionna Silas, 24, of Bridgeport, was caught on Main and Fairview Avenue sitting in a running car after midnight shift Officer Phil Norris checked out the car and discovered the wanted woman who originally gave officers a fake ID, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
