Covid-19: 175th Dutchess County Fair Canceled For This Year The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has resulted in the closure of yet another staple, the Dutchess County Fair, for this year. Fair officials announced on Wednesday, June 3, they had "made the incredibly emotional and difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Dutchess County Fair," due to concerns for the safety of the many guests. Know Her? Police Look To ID Larceny Suspect Do you know her? A suspect in a theft at one of the largest fairs held annually in New York State is at large and police are asking the public's help in identifying her. New York State Police investigators have released surveillance photos of a woman who is connected to a theft complaint that was reported at the Dutchess County Fair. In the photo, the woman can be seen wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, glasses and jeans.  Anyone who has information regarding the woman, or who recognizes her, has been asked to contact New York State Police by calling (845) 677-7300.
