Group Of Men Steal $15K Worth Of Narcotics From CT Rite Aid
Police in Connecticut are asking the public for help identifying three men who allegedly stole more than $15,000 worth of drugs from a Rite Aid Pharmacy. The incident took place in New Haven County around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 in Milford at the store located at 1360 Boston Post Road. The men went to the pharmacy drop-off counter where two of the suspects jumped over the counter, said the Milford Police. An employee was ordered to open a safe containing narcotics. Nurse Charged With Stealing Prescription Medication From Darien Senior Living Facility
A Fairfield County nurse is facing charges for allegedly stealing pain medication from patients for several months, police said. The director of the Maplewood at Darien notified investigators at the Darien Police Department that an employed nurse had been stealing prescription controlled substances from residents. Police said that the nurse in question, identified as Bridgeport resident Stacey Thompson, 34, stole 50mg Tramadol - an opioid pain medication that requires a prescription - pills from four residents living in the facility.
