Head-On Rollover Crash Injures Three In Carmel A rollover crash in Putnam County left three people hospitalized following a head-on collision in Carmel. First responders were dispatched to Drewville Road at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, police said. Two were transported to Putnam Hospital, and a third was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center following the crash with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said that the crash is currently under investigation by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and Carmel Police Department. No cause for the crash has been released. Ambulance Slides Off Road With Patient Onboard In Putnam An ambulance crash has been cleared in Putnam County, according to Carmel Police. The ambulance, carrying a patient, slid off the icy roadway around 7:23 a.m. Friday at 211 Drewville Road, police said. There was no word of additional injuries. The roadway is open and moving, police said.
