Three-Hour Lockdown Ends As WestConn Declared Safe Update: A three-hour lockdown ended at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury after the campus was declared to be safe following a report of a man with a gun in the Visual & Performing Arts Center. The declaration came after a search by police officers and a SWAT team.
