Woman Found Dead After CT Apartment Fire Breaks Out A Connecticut woman was found dead inside a third-floor apartment following a fire. The Hartford County woman was found around 8 p.m., Monday, March 21, in East Windsor following the fire at a multi-family home on Church Street. When firefighters were called shortly before 7:30 p.m. there was a report of “trapped parties on the third floor," the Broad Brook Fire Department said. On arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and fire condition, the department said.
