Speeding Stop Leads To DUI Charge In New Canaan A Northern Westchester man driving in Fairfield County was slapped with a DUI charge after being stopped for speeding on a busy New Canaan road, police said. An officer from the New Canaan Police Department on patrol at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Thursday morning stopped a vehicle driven by South Salem resident Christopher Mannix Schlarb when he was clocked driving 60 mph in a posted 40 mph zone.
