Danbury Man Sentenced For Embezzling $1.1 Million From Company Where He Worked For 25 Years A Danbury man who embezzled $1.1 million from the printing company that employed him over the course of more than 25 years was sentenced to over three years in prison.  Anthony "Tony" Teixeira was charged with 10 counts of wire fraud, an offense that carries a maximum sentence of 20 years, on Dec. 12 of 2019, then released on a $50,000 bond. He was sentenced to 41 months in prison followed by three years of post-release supervision on Thursday, Nov. 12.
