30 Rounds Fired, 3 Wounded, 1 Critically, In Bridgeport Shooting Three people were wounded, one critically during a shooting in Fairfield County on a busy city street. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22 in the 1200 block of Park Avenue. Bridgeport Police officers responded to the area after receiving multiple ShotSpotter notifications and reports of numerous people shot, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police.  When officers arrived, they quickly located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
