Four Firefighters Injured After Blaze Breaks Out At Fairfield County Home Four Stratford firefighters were injured fighting a Canaan Road house fire early Tuesday, according to the Stratford Fire Department. Shortly after midnight, the department responded to 361 Canaan Road to find the rear of a three-story, multi-family dwelling engulfed in fire, said Deputy Chief, Fire Marshall Brain Lampart. "Firefighters worked for nearly two-and-a-half hours under the command of Assistant Chief Camperlengo to extinguish the very stubborn fire," said Lampart.  Lampart said six people were displaced from fire and water damaged to three apartments.
