Tristate Twister: Tornado With 100 MPH Winds Travels Through CT, 2 Other States A survey conducted by the National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado caused damage across three states during a severe thunderstorm including in Connecticut. The tornado touched down Wednesday, Sept. 13 in Windham County in Killingly. It then traveled over the towns of Foster, Glocester, and Lincoln in Providence County, Rhode Island, and then finally, into North Attleboro, Massachusetts, in Bristol County. Woman Accused Of Making Harassing, Threatening Calls To Victim In Fairfield County A 43-year-old Massachusetts woman was arrested and accused of making harassing and threatening phone calls to a victim in Fairfield County, Connecticut. The New Canaan Police Department received a report on Tuesday, Feb. 15, that a victim had received harassing calls from an unknown person. Investigators later identified Abbie Stafford as the person who left the messages, authorities said. Police said Stafford is a resident of North Easton, located in Bristol County, Massachusetts.
