A Fairfield County man is feeling lucky after winning big on a scratcher in the Connecticut State Lottery. Danbury resident Anthony Fajardo Salinas was the latest to claim a big prize after cashing in a "$100,000 Cashword 11" ticket on Monday, Aug. 2 that was sold at Sams Food in Bethel. New Millionaire: Westport Man Becomes $1.5M CT Lottery Winner
A man in Westport recently cashed in a winning lottery ticket with a total value of $1.5 million, according to CT Lottery. Robin Custer Jr. purchased the winning ticket, which offered ‘$7,500 a month for life,’ from Bridge Garage on Riverside Avenue. Unlike other large lottery winners, Custer declined to speak with the lottery officials regarding his winnings or even have his photo taken. Custer’s ‘Win $7,500 For Life’ ticket was the second edition of the game, and five grand prizes have been played in total.
