Married 67 years, Fairfield Couple Pass Away Within Weeks Of Each Other FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Robert L. Seirup Sr. and Joan (Hedin) Seirup of Fairfield, who were married for 67 years, passed away within weeks of each other.  Robert L. Seirup Sr., a beloved local teacher and coach, died Dec. 8. His beloved wife, Joan Seirup, died Dec. 31.  Joan, who was raised in Bridgeport by Harry and Katharine Hedin, graduated from Bassick High School in 1945 and from the Scudder Business School.  Bob, a lifelong Fairfield resident and son of the late Carl and Maud Seirup, was a graduate of Ludlowe High School and received a bachelor's degree from Springfield College, master's …
