Danbury Prepares For King Of The Hill 5K Road Race

DANBURY,Conn. -- The United Way of Western Connecticut is set to run the annual "King of the Hill Road Race" in Danbury on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 6:30 p.m.

The 3.1-mile course will run through the Matrix Corporate Center located at 39 Old Ridgebury Road. 

Individual awards will be given the top overall male and female finishers and for the top three finishers in each age group. 

Team awards will be given in the following categories: Team Mixed, Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Men’s Masters, Women’s Masters. All masters’ participants are 40 and older.

Preregistration will cost $27 for runners over the age of 12 and $15 for runners 12 and younger. Race day registration will cost $30.

The race benefits the United Way.
