DANBURY, Conn. -- The Danbury Flyers participated in a highly competitive USA Track and Field cross country meet held last Sunday at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y.
Despite fierce competition from elite runners from the Greater New York City Area, the Flyers had three medalists: Gabiella Teixeira, Maya Gawley, and Valerie Fox.
Results, including the place and time for each of the Flyers, are as follows:
Boys (Ages 9-10) 3000m (71 runners competed)

The Flyers will will participate in the AAU Junior Olympics Connecticut qualifier Sunday in New Haven.
