WestPrep is available to all recent high school graduates or college students with disabilities to help them learn to better navigate the challenging transition from high school to university life.
The college-readiness program, which was a successful pilot program at the university in 2011, is geared to assist students with time management, organization and test preparation strategies. Students will also learn academic, social and self-advocacy skills.
The four-week program begins July 29 and runs Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost for the three-credit course is $1,850 and applications will be accepted through June 28.
For more information, visit the program's website or call Elisabeth Werling at 203-837-8225.
