Overnight Snow Prompts Delayed Openings For Many Fairfield County Schools

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — For the second Monday in a row, overnight snow is causing a number of school districts in Fairfield County to delay the opening of classes for two hours.

The following school districts are on a delay for Monday, Dec. 11:

  • Bethel Public Schools, two-hour delay
  • Brookfield Public Schools, two-hour delay
  • Danbury Public Schools, two-hour delay
  • Easton Public Schools, 90-minute delay
  • Monroe Public Schools,90-minute delay
  • New Fairfield Public Schools, two-hour delay
  • Newtown Public Schools, two-hour delay
  • Redding Public Schools, 90-minute delay
  • Ridgefield Public Schools, two-hour delay
  • Sherman Public Schools, two-hour delay
