Danbury Schools On Two-Hour Delay Thursday

DANBURY, Conn. — The Danbury Public Schools are on a two-hour delay for Thursday after a nor'easter dumped more than a half-foot of snow on the city, according to the mayor's Twitter account.

Immaculate High School is also on a two-hour delay, opening at 9:45 a.m. 

The Danbury Judicial District will open at 11 a.m.

Under a two-hour delay:

• Danbury High opens at 9:20 a.m.

• ACE at 9:30 a.m.

• Broadview and Rogers Park middle schools at 9:40 a.m. 

• Early elementary schools at 10:25 a.m. with afternoon kindergarten at 12:45 p.m.

• Late elementary schools at 10:55 a.m. with afternoon kindergarten at 1:15 p.m.

The extended learning program opens at 8 a.m. and the School Readiness Program begins at 9 a.m.
