District officials will meet Wednesday with the Danbury Board of Education to decided whether to change Nov. 21, currently scheduled as a day off, to a half day, to make up some of the missed time, said Sal Pascarella, Danbury school superintendent. The board also will decide whether to have school Feb. 19, which was scheduled as a day off for Presidents Day.

Parent conferences also were affected by the missed school days, Pascarella said. Conferences were moved to Nov. 13 to 16 for elementary and middle schools. Those schools will follow a half-day early dismissal schedule on those days.
