Rep. Esty Meeting With Constituents In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. -- U.S. Rep. Elizabeth Esty (D-5th District) will host her eighth “Congress on Your Corner” event of the year from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Danbury Public Library.

The event will provide area residents the opportunity to meet with Esty one on one, and to share their thoughts regarding issues before Congress and in their community.

Members of Esty’s staff also will be on hand to help residents who have problems or concerns with a federal agency, including matters related to Social Security, Medicare, immigration and veterans’ benefits.

Esty's constituency includes Danbury, Brookfield, New Fairfield, Sherman, Bethel and Newtown, along with much of northwestern Connecticut.

The library is at 170 Main St.
