Danbury's Scribner Reappointed To Top Transportation Post

DANBURY, Conn. – State Rep. David Scribner was reappointed as ranking member of the Transportation Committee and Transportation Bonding Subcommittee for the 2013 legislative session, according to a statement. Scribner, a Republican, represents the 107th District, which includes parts of Danbury, Bethel and Brookfield.

"Connecticut faces serious economic and social challenges this year, and I look forward to addressing those issues as well as extending my public service to the people of Danbury, who are now included in the 107th District,” Scribner said.

Scribner, who is serving his eighth term in the General Assembly, is the longest serving leader of the Transportation Committee. He was also named one of the assistant Republican leaders and will continue to serve on the Public Health and Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committees for the next two years.
