DANBURY, Conn. -- Danbury state Rep. Richard A. Smith (R-108th District) achieved a 100 percent voting attendance record for the 2014 legislative session.
This year, Smith cast his vote on 308 separate pieces of legislation on the floor of the House of Representatives.
“It is an honor to serve as your voice in Hartford, and I take pride in making sure that all sides of the issue are heard and debated,” Smith said in a statement. “The legislature took action on hundreds of bills, including many consequential economic policies, and I was glad to be there every step of the way.”
Only 33 percent of legislators had perfect voting attendance during this legislative session.
