Danbury City Councilman Resigns After 14 Years Of Service

DANBURY, Conn. -- Danbury City Councilman Jack Knapp has resigned from his City Council seat after serving 14 years with the city, six years on the Zoning Commission, and eight on the Council, according to WLAD.com.

Knapp, who has been serving for the past several months as the chairman of the Danbury Republican Town Committee, said he would not have time to perform both duties, according to WLAD.com.
